What we do
Academic English Hub is an independent TOEFL iBT preparation platform. You can practise Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking through individual tasks, section tests and complete practice tests, then review your answers and feedback.
Our aim is to help you understand what to practise and what to learn from each attempt. You can learn how a task works, practise it separately and use a longer test to work on timing. Clear explanations and useful feedback help you choose what to work on next.
Our guides explain the current TOEFL iBT task types and link to ETS sources for information about the exam. Free practice is available alongside optional paid packages for additional content and AI evaluations.
Meet the team
Co-founders Efe Keskin and Gulchin Aliyeva bring together technical experience, firsthand TOEFL preparation, research and teaching. These backgrounds shape how we build the platform and develop its learning tools.
Hi, I am Efe, a co-founder of Academic English Hub. My work on the platform draws on my technical background, industry experience and time preparing for the TOEFL.
During my preparation, I found it difficult to choose what to practise and judge whether another test was helping. That experience shapes my work on focused exercises, progress tracking and AI-assisted Writing and Speaking feedback. I want learners to spend their time practising and reviewing their work, with a clear next step.
Gulchin helps shape our learning philosophy, and I work on putting it into practice through the website. We want preparation to leave room for curiosity, mistakes and another attempt. Clear explanations and useful feedback are central to that goal.
Gulchin Aliyeva is a co-founder of Academic English Hub, a researcher, tutor and teaching assistant. Her teaching perspective helps shape the platform’s learning philosophy: practice should have a clear purpose, and explanations should help learners understand the reasoning behind an answer.
She emphasises question quality and useful diagnostics. A result should help a learner identify which skills need attention, while recommendations should connect those findings to a manageable next step. These principles guide how we think about practice and feedback.
Gulchin also values a supportive learning experience, with opportunities to make mistakes, ask questions and try again. She co-founded Academic English Hub with Efe Keskin to connect that approach to teaching with practical learning tools.
Practice material and feedback
Our practice materials are developed for Academic English Hub. They are not official ETS questions or past exam papers. AI assists with drafting material, and we use structural validation and a content review workflow to check it. The editorial policy explains this process in more detail.
Questions with fixed answers are scored against answer keys. For supported Writing and Speaking tasks, you can request AI evaluation after practising. It provides feedback and a practice estimate, and it uses your account's evaluation allowance. AI feedback can make mistakes, so review it alongside the task and your response.
Free practice and paid packages
Optional paid packages help cover the costs of running the platform and developing practice materials. They provide additional content access and AI-evaluation allowances alongside the free plan. The site does not carry advertising.
Packages are one-time purchases with a stated access period and do not renew automatically. You do not need a payment card for free practice. The pricing page lists the current packages, access periods and evaluation allowances.

Academic English Hub is not affiliated with or endorsed by ETS. TOEFL and TOEFL iBT are registered trademarks of ETS. We use these names to identify the exam our materials help you prepare for.
Scores shown here are practice results from our own system. They are not official TOEFL scores and do not guarantee a result on the real exam. Use them to review your work and track your practice; consult ETS for official exam information.

No. Academic English Hub is an independent preparation platform. Its practice materials and scores are not official ETS materials or results.
What is free, and what do paid packages add?
The free plan includes access to selected practice content, and the public guides are free to read. Optional paid packages add content access for a stated period and additional AI evaluations. See the pricing page for current details.
Do I need an account?
You can try one practice session as a guest. Sign in to a free account to continue practising and sync saved results across devices. Guest results saved in the same browser can be added to your account; speaking recordings remain on the device where you recorded them.
How do AI-evaluation allowances work?
A verified free account has a daily AI-evaluation allowance. Paid packages and evaluation top-ups provide additional allowances. See the pricing page for current details.
Are these real past TOEFL questions?
No. Our practice material is developed for Academic English Hub around the exam's published task types. It is not a collection of past ETS exam questions.
Will a practice score predict my real TOEFL score?
Practice scores can help you review your work and follow your progress, but they do not guarantee an official result. Our scoring and AI evaluations are separate from ETS scoring.
