Understand the 2026 TOEFL

Reading and Listening adapt: your first module determines the second module's difficulty. Writing and Speaking remain linear, with sentence, email, discussion, repetition and interview tasks.

Section and overall scores use 1–6 bands in half steps, aligned to CEFR. Official reports include a comparable 0–120 estimate through January 2028.

Efe Keskin

Built by a TOEFL learner, for TOEFL learners

Academic English Hub was founded by Efe Keskin, after preparing for the TOEFL and finding that the hard part was never the number of practice tests taken. It was understanding what each question type actually asks, recognising the pattern behind it, and practising it often enough that the approach stops needing thought.

That is the principle the whole site is built on. Every task has its own catalog, so a skill can be practised again and again on different questions rather than once in a mock test. Every answer comes back with an explanation, and Writing and Speaking responses get a full report in under a minute, so nobody has to practise blindly or wait days to learn what went wrong.
